Truth be told, Adam's secret life-long ambition is to be a superhero – complete with a super-cool superhero identity, super-natural abilities that can help people, and winning personality (tights not necessary). In the meantime, he's super excited about working at the Greater Boston Vineyard (an ideal, inconspicuous, mild-mannered alter-ego) and working with college students who are interested in spiritual exploration. Adam originally came to Boston for college and ended up studying Physics through a mix-up in paperwork. Typically, the superhero is supposed to rescue the damsel in distress, but in Adam's case there was a role reversal when he met the love of his life Mary and she rescued him from a severe case of bacheloritis (for reasons unknown). They are now happily married and living in Cambridgeport with their brand new daughter Lily.
Adam's interests include running, rowing, rock-climbing, collecting t-shirts and defeating diabolical criminal masterminds. Together, Adam and Mary enjoy watching movies, eating ice cream and eating ice cream while watching movies. There new favorite pastime is brainstorming embarrassing ways they will show affection to Lily in public when she's a teenager.
