Want to get involved? Join a Sunday Team!

If you like what you see on Sunday Morning, that's because there are hundreds of volunteers helping make Sunday as fun and meaningful an experience as possible. Joining a Sunday Team is a great way to make your own contribution, and a great way to meet other people as you work together.

Below is the list of all the Sunday Teams. We're sure that you'll find a team that you'd enjoy joining. Simply e-mail Adam Bakun at teams@bostonvineyard.org and tell us which Sunday Team you are interested in learning more about. Then sit back and wait for the Sunday Team Overseer to contact you. It really is that easy to get involved!

Arts Team

You may have heard a cover of a pop tune, taken in live theatre or dance, or watched a movie clip at a Vineyard service, and wondered whose idea was that. The Arts Team supports our Teaching Team by finding or creating arts offerings on the themes of our sermon series. We have ongoing opportunities for musicians, singers, actors, dancers, writers and producers. We seek a diverse range of talent, experience, and style. Bookstore

Help sell books and CDs before and after services.

Cafe

Provide refreshments during Sunday services, including set-up and clean-up.

Choir

A great way to get started at the Vineyard. Weekly rehearsals provide opportunities to share and hone your musical gifts and to get to meet others. New choir members are welcome throughout the year. Please read the PDF to learn a bit about the history and vision of the choir.

Welcome people on Sunday mornings – from bulletins to directions to information

Information Table

Help answer questions about the church in general and Small Groups.

Intercession

Pray for our services and our church.  intercession@bostonvineyard.org for more information.

Kids' Church

Help with our Baby Church, Pre-school, and Elementary groups. Application & CORI check required.

Logistics

Support all facets of Sunday morning – set-up, ushering, communion / offering, clean-up.

Parking

Help ensure our parking remains legal and courteous to our neighbors.

Portuguese Translation

Translate the service into Portuguese or pass out headsets.

Prayer Ministry

A team of men and women available after all Sunday services to pray with individuals about personal needs, be they physical, emotional, relational or spiritual. (More on Prayer Ministry)

Projection & Video Camera Team

If you have video and computer skills, this team is a place to serve and innovate. We are constantly seeking new ways to communicate effectively using the latest advances in technology. New videographers, projectionists, and stage managers are needed throughout the year.

Seasonal Choirs and Orchestral Assemblies

Christmas and Easter provide special opportunities to participate in our music program. Watch for details and announcements in the weeks preceding the Advent and Lenten seasons.

Sound

If you have technical gifts and care passionately about the quality or our music, you will find soulmates on the Sound Team. New engineers and assistant engineers are being trained on our system throughout the year.

Video Production

Work on creating and processing video, mainly of sermons. Prior experience required.

Worship Team

Being our most promiment arts team, the Worship Team demands the most time and spiritual commitment of its members. You may notice that we draw from a wide range of musical traditions, and so our worship team members must be adventurous, flexible, and reliable. We schedule and reconfigure our bands three times a year (September, January, and June), and are always eager to meet worshipers who have the technical, musical abilities to keep up with this demanding enterprise.
