Join A Prayer Team
Who We Are
A team of men and women available after all Sunday services to pray with individuals about personal needs, be they physical, emotional, relational or spiritual.
Team Purpose
To serve the gathered body by helping individuals to connect with God at their point of need. As the Holy Spirit leads us, this might include empathic listening, listening prayer, blessing, breaking shame, hearing a confession of sin, leading someone through the steps of forgiving others, grieving losses, healing memories; breaking demonic oppression, physical healing, words of knowledge, wisdom and prophecy; praying for salvation, praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit; minimal practical advice, and/or referral.
Requirements for Prayer Team Members

You are a member of the Greater Boston Vineyard, having attended Vineyard 101 and signed the membership covenant.

Presence of the Holy Spirit in you. You believe God answers prayer.

Willingness to be used by God. You show up and pray.

Honesty. You freely admit your own weakness, brokenness, and inadequacy.

Willingness to grow. You are teachable, responsive, and willing to act on behalf of yourself and others, even if that requires change of heart or behavior on your part.

Attendance to pre-service prayer times and quarterly prayer and training gatherings.
