For Your Family

There will be no programs for Babies, Preschool, Elementary, or Youth on the Sunday after Thanksgiving (November 27th), Christmas Day (December 25th), or New Years Day (January 1st).  All families are invited to worship together in the main service on these Sundays.

Programs for Youth and Kids

We’re excited about your kids! We have designed special programs and services just for them that happen concurrently with the adult 9:30 service. Kids are also welcome in the main services.

Youth and kids programs happen in two of our campus buildings, the Sanctuary building and the Ministry Center. Check-in and check-out is an easy and safe electronic system. The first time you drop your kids off, please allow about 10 minutes so that you can register your kids.

Baby Church (0 to 2 year-olds)

Drop off: 1st floor of ministry centerWe have an experienced group of childcare providers who are ready every Sunday to spend time with your child while you enjoy the main service. Many of the volunteers are parents like you, with their own children in this nursery. At Baby Church we sing songs, play with toys and balls, read short stories, hug and hold, blow bubbles, and pray blessings for all our kids.

Preschool (2 to 5 year-olds)

Drop off:
2nd floor of ministry center

We have different classes for each age group. Each class size is 8-15 kids. We start with playtime followed by a time of worship and song. Our lessons are taught by reading Bible stories, role-playing stories, and drama. Each lesson usually has a hands-on craft that expands that story. We serve a small snack at the end.

Elementary (K through 4th grade)

Kindergarten through 4th grade drop off:
Sanctuary Lower-Level, Multi-Purpose Room (MPR)

In Elementary Kids Church, we're developing our own personal relationship with God by inviting Him into our lives in tangible ways, just as we do with our friends! We're discovering what it's like to have God help us with our homework, or to go apple picking with Him!

Sunday mornings are filled with hands-on, faith-building activities such as personalizing Psalms, baking bread, going on scavenger hunts, singing & playing instruments, blogging, or acting out Bible passages. In small groups, we share about how faith works in our lives while learning about others and developing friendships. We'd love for you to come join us!

PZF Youth Church ( Middle School: 5th-8th grade, High School: 9th through 12th grade)

Location:
The Middle School group meets in the Ministry Center Basement, Sunday mornings at 9:30am.

High School group meets in the Ministry Center Basement, Sunday evenings at 6:00pm.

Youth ministry is for kids in 5th to 12th grade. You may hear us referred to as "PZF" or "Prizefight". Our desire is to be individuals who will persevere to "fight the good fight of faith". Keeping up the good fight is not an easy task and it helps when you have friends to cheer you on.  It means choosing to grow in God together by simultaneously getting to know each other and Jesus more.

The middle school group meets together to worship God on Sunday mornings and the high school group meets on Sunday evenings. We get silly at our Kickin' It Together fun events. We partner with other organizations, like River Rangers, for outdoor adventure.

Check out the different ways to get plugged in and we hope to see you soon!

Family Friendly Spaces

Families are always welcome in the main service. In the Sanctuary building, we also have an alcove off the Dome Gallery with quiet toys and books available for kids to play with and chairs for parents to sit in. We are also creating more hang-out spaces within our lobby, where the sound is piped in and families have the flexibility to sit or toddlers can roam around.
