Our Goal

We aim to be a church where people can feel like they belong, where people can heal from the hurts they have experienced, where they can grow and become the person that God has created them to be, and where they can pass all of those benefits of following Jesus on to others.

Real life. Real people. Real God.

The River Church (previously known as the Quincy Initiative) was formed because we want to have a church service closer to the cities we live in, because we want to know the people in our communities, and because we want to positively impact the cities we live in.  Visiting one of our weekly small groups or attending a film forum are great ways to get connected with people in your area.
