Artist’s Statement
David Stone
Photography
As a young adult thirty years ago I became fascinated with photographs
that evoked a mood or emotion.
Sometimes I even felt as if God put a scene before me just so I could
capture it with my camera. These experiences motivated me make my living
as a photographer. I do feel blessed and thank God for the career I've
had but somehow along the way those moments became more & more rare.
After spending the last twenty years as a news and industrial
photographer it my intent to return to where I started which is trying
to capture those allusive moods and if a successful sending illumination
into the heart of those viewing my photographs.
David Stone is a photographer and graphic artist for an advertising unit
of the Boston Globe.
